Job Overview

A well-established company based in the Van Nuys area seeks a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join its team full-time.

This role offers the opportunity to perform a variety of administrative tasks that contribute to the team's success within a small but capable group with access to national resources.

Estimated Annual Salary: $55,000 - $65,000.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place and manage purchase orders while coordinating closely with factory teams to ensure timely and efficient production. Monitor order status, address potential issues proactively, uphold quality standards, and maintain open communication with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Manage inventory by organizing merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory levels, generating invoices, verifying and matching purchase orders, and labeling products.
  • Basic accounting and record-keeping.
  • Assist the national sales team by answering inquiries, preparing merchandise presentations, fulfilling orders, and sending supplies.
  • Handle customer inquiries in a manner that represents the company in a positive light, shows a desire to meet customer requirements, and demonstrates problem-solving skills.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
  • Proficient in both Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
