    • Develop and implement strategies to support the growth and development of our veterinary team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care to our patients.
    • Collaborate with our medical director to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure the highest standards of veterinary care.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to our veterinarians to help them achieve their full potential and advance their careers.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to our core values of compassion, integrity, and excellence.
  • Medical (50%)
    • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients, including physical examinations, diagnostics, treatment recommendations, and discharge instructions.
    • Collaborate with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in veterinary medicine, incorporating new knowledge and techniques into our practice.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure our practice is meeting the highest standards of care.

    • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring we are operating within our means while still delivering high-quality care to our patients.
    • Collaborate with our operations team to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure the smooth operation of our clinics.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current California State Veterinary License.
  • Minimum three years of experience in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter.
  • Minimum one year of experience in people management.
  • Fear Free Veterinary certification.
