Job Title: Principal Robotics Systems Engineer

A leading robotics company based in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to lead efforts in product safety and compliance. In this critical role, you will take charge of developing and implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards for advanced robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety protocols for advanced robotic systems
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for product safety and reliability
  • Lead cross-functional teams through safety design reviews and compliance processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on product safety and compliance
  • Extensive experience with HARA, DFMEA, and FMEA
  • Proficiency with JAMA for safety tracking and compliance
  • Strong experience in robotics safety standards and regulations

  • 40% Product Safety Analysis (HARA, DFMEA, FMEA)
  • 30% Compliance and Certification
  • 30% Systems Engineering Leadership
