Role Responsibilities
The Clinical Practice Specialist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services while enhancing patient access and satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with patients and customers (10%)
- Building strong connections with colleagues (10%)
- Taking initiative for personal growth and contributing to a culture of learning (10%)
- Demonstrating commitment to the hospital's mission and core values (10%)
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and establishing diagnoses based on collected data and current scientific evidence (20%)
- Developing and implementing care plans in line with established protocols and research (15%)
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families (5%)
- Supporting the educational advancement of staff, patients, and families (5%)
- Exhibiting leadership qualities and effective management skills (5%)
- Providing educational resources through role modeling and training sessions to address identified learning needs (5%)
- Engaging in self-directed learning and continuing education to enhance professional development (5%)
Educational Requirements
· Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), or
· Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Experience Requirements
· Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Proven leadership abilities (Required proficiency)
- Strong interpersonal skills (Required proficiency)
- Proficient in accessing patient medical information via electronic systems (Required proficiency)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook (Required proficiency)
Licensure and Certifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio, and
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Ohio, or
- Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
