CompensationOur compensation package offers a competitive hourly rate of $35.00 to $43.00, ensuring that our top-performing controls engineers are rewarded for their skills and experience.

Job DescriptionAs an R&D Engineer at Entegee, you will play a critical role in developing and testing medical devices, leveraging your expertise in sustaining engineering and design verification/validation. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Developing moderately complex experiments and tests, analyzing results, making recommendations, and developing reports
  • Generating work instructions, test methods, and engineering drawings/prototypes
  • Creating and updating design control documents, including requirement specs and risk documents
  • Assigning R&D support tasks, instructing and training technicians, and coordinating technician work
  • Identifying, evaluating, managing, and providing guidance to suppliers


Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering is required, with a Master's preferred. You must have prior experience as a sustaining engineer in a Class II or III medical device industry, with a strong background in design verification and validation, failure mode analysis, and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab). Test method validation experience is also essential, along with excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite. CAD experience is a plus.
