We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair of sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, including diagnosing equipment/system malfunctions.
- Contact customers to ascertain equipment/system problems and provide solutions.
- Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
- Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and operational product manuals.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills by communicating effectively with district staff and customers.
- Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements and obtain customer signatures.
- Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and perform physical labor.
- Able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders and scaffolding.
- Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
- Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
- Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
- NICET Level II certification.
