Actalent is seeking a skilled Food Quality Technician to join our team in Lafayette. As a Food Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of food products.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct analytical testing of final product and in-process samples using various instruments and techniques.
- Facilitate the plant process flow by providing timely and accurate analysis results.
- Post analysis results into data systems and communicate with plant personnel.
- Recognize abnormal findings and work with process teams to resolve.
- Perform final QA/QC of outbound shipments and document results.
- Maintain basic laboratory equipment and support other departments with analytical and project-based efforts.
- Bachelor or Associate degree in a life science.
- Ability to work shift flexible between first and third shift.
- Exposure to HPLC, GC, NIR, Karl Fischer, pH, and other basic microbiology and chemistry testing.
