We are in search of a skilled IT Administrator to deliver comprehensive technical assistance to our team in Boston. The ideal candidate should possess a strong enthusiasm for technology, a curious mindset, and a willingness to make a meaningful contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support and resolve issues for both Mac and Windows platforms.
  • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of network infrastructure.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical personnel regarding issues and solutions.
  • Manage help desk inquiries efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and sustain both software and hardware systems.
  • Monitor and uphold network security, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of IT initiatives.
  • Provide training and assistance to end-users on various IT systems and applications.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in the IT field.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for emergency support outside of regular hours.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support.
  • Proficient knowledge of both Mac and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software challenges.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Time management proficiency.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are advantageous, though experience is also valued.
