The Role

We're looking for early sales hires to bring Watershed to more companies. As pressure for climate action builds, every large company is launching a climate program. You'll be responsible for getting those companies on Watershed and helping them succeed. As a founding member of our go-to-market organization, you'll help build the sales playbook, shape Watershed's product, and contribute to building a stellar team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell Watershed to leading companies, educate them about effective climate programs, and help them succeed with our platform.
  • Develop the Watershed sales playbook into a repeatable machine.
  • Take Watershed into new market segments.
  • Shape Watershed's product strategy by sharing feedback from customers on the front line.
  • Become an expert in climate and educate companies on how to navigate the world of carbon reduction targets, clean energy, carbon removal, and decarbonizing their supply chain.
  • Help build the sales team.
You Might Be a Fit If:
  • You have a track record of sales excellence, especially with enterprise customers (5,000+ employees) at an executive level.
  • You have 2-3+ years of demonstrated success selling $100k-$500k deals.
  • You're excited to lead from zero to one and love building things from scratch.
  • You're an excellent consultative seller who listens deeply to customers and excels by helping them solve their problems.
  • You love going deep on new domains and are voraciously curious.
  • You have a track record of doing whatever it takes to get things done and are relentlessly resourceful.
  • You want to join a startup, take responsibility for the fate of the company, and move fast.
Compensation

We strive to design consistent, fair, and competitive compensation programs. The on-target earnings range may be inclusive of several levels at Watershed, and the final offer will be determined by a number of factors, including the candidate's skills, capabilities, and location, as well as the scope of the role.

The anticipated on-target earnings is inclusive of base salary + variable commission. Commission at Watershed is uncapped and includes tiers of acceleration with no deceleration in the plans. We offer a non-recoverable draw and ramp quota schedule during a new hire's onboarding period.

The provided compensation detail is in addition to a total rewards benefits package including equity, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), unlimited paid time off, paid parental leave (includes variable compensation during leave), fertility, and mental health programs, etc.

OTE Range: $217,000-$270,000 USD
