Clinical Documentation Specialist

PEDIATRIC EAR NOSE & THROAT OF ATLANTA PC is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle department, this individual will be responsible for reviewing clinical documentation to ensure accurate and compliant charge capture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review clinical documentation to ensure timely and accurate charge capture
- Process paper and electronic claims to payers with full and complete information
- Collaborate with Physician Practices to educate and inform departments on the latest government regulations and requirements
- Work with payer acceptance/reject reports to ensure clinical documentation is consistent and complete
- Collaborate with cross-campus counterparts to ensure consistency in processes and seamless charge capture
- Provide ongoing education to charging departments on coding and clinical documentation best practices
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of medical coding and clinical documentation principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
