Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have experience in electrophysiology and be motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing a variety of acute, episodic, and chronic conditions, practicing as an extender/collaborator for physicians, and evaluating and treating patients following an established plan of care.
Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose patients with acute, episodic, and chronic conditions
- Practice as an extender/collaborator for physicians
- Evaluate and treat patients following an established plan of care
- Support ancillary staff, including sonographers, nurses, and medical assistants
- Respond to patient calls and order diagnostic and laboratory tests
- Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic therapies
- Provide health promotions, disease prevention, patient and family teaching, and counseling
- Accountable for knowledge of statutes and rules relating to advanced practice nursing
- TX medical license as NP
- TX DEA certificate
- ANCC or AANP Certification or Eligibility
- CPR certification
- 1 year of experience
