Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Texas Health Dallas. As a key member of our cardiovascular service, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-patient pre and post-surgery management services for patients undergoing cardiac and vascular surgeries.
  • Collaborate with doctors, patients, and hospitalists to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Coordinate services from surgery to discharge, ensuring a smooth transition for patients and their families.
  • Work closely with our cardiovascular team to provide high-quality patient care and achieve excellent outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner Program (NP) required.
  • Acute Care hospital setting experience required.
  • 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) strongly preferred.
  • ACNP strongly preferred.
  • Critical Care experience required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire preferred.
