Key Responsibilities- Book appointments, including follow-ups, and greet patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Verify patient eligibility and process necessary information to support appointment scheduling
- Prepare medical records and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- High school diploma required
- Clerical experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and attention to detail
- Superior customer service skills and ability to work well under pressure
The Patient Access Representative-Referral Coordinator will work in a fast-paced office environment, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on providing exceptional patient care.
