Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Regional LPN to join our team at Windsor House Nursing & Rehab. As a Regional LPN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and supporting the overall mission of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing services to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and ensuring proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances.
  • Observe and record changes in residents' condition, reporting to supervisors and attending physicians as necessary.
  • Assist in planning, supervising, and instructing Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), assigning daily work assignments to ensure positive outcomes for residents.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures, ensuring safe work practices and proper infection control techniques.
  • Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Program, ensuring follow-up and implementation of recommendations.
  • Provide input for CNA performance evaluations, coaching, counseling, and disciplining as needed.
  • Recommend staffing, equipment, and supply needs to the Director of Nursing Services.
  • Responsible for capturing charges for supplies issued to residents on the unit.
  • Participate in care planning process, ensuring the nursing component is implemented.
  • Ensure the rights of residents are respected, coordinating with other departments and ensuring residents are taken to activities, etc.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted license by the State Board of Nursing, as an LPN/LVN.
  • Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change, as work schedule will change on a daily basis.
  • Able to work intimately with residents, physicians, and staff.
  • Capable of working to prescribe nursing standards.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; has an interest to perform a service.
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required.
