Overview of the Role:

The Business Development Manager is a key position at Holland America Group, responsible for developing and executing account strategy to meet and exceed sales goals. This role involves promoting company products to accounts through on-site sales calls, telephone and written communication. The territory covered by this position is southern California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute an account strategy within a geographic territory.
  • Maintain strong and effective long-term relationships with corporate objectives.
  • Negotiate group sales contracts to ensure required APD.
  • Manage a professional budget using critical thinking and ROI.
  • Plan and oversee marketing initiatives with partners.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relationship-sales experience including a track record of revenue growth.
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
