Job Summary:

The Data Analyst II participates as a technical resource in data analysis, data integration, and data management. This role utilizes a thorough knowledge of data analysis, information systems data structures, and data management methodologies to align business insight with corporate goals and strategies.


Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to align data activities to key business goals and initiatives.
  • Generate custom analytics and perform data analysis using statistical techniques and analytics tools. Present findings to leadership.
  • Conduct data integration and database data management for use by various units and business processes.
  • Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data.
  • Generate custom reports and perform data analysis using statistical techniques.
  • Create data models for efficient systems usage and performance analysis.
  • Create data flows diagrams and visualizations to communicate information clearly and effectively.
  • Write database queries and stored procedures to streamline development needs of developers and project teams.
  • Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources and ensure accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and integrity of data.
  • Work with business units to prioritize business and information needs and align analytics to business processes.
  • Create data architecture models and reference architecture; collaborate with IT resources to validate and implement strategic data technologies.
  • Document logical data structure, including data mapping from source to target, field definitions, and any calculations and transformations along the data pipeline.
  • Work within their team and have a direct impact on themselves and their direct processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in statistics, data analysis, data mining, computer science, or information management.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis or digital analytics required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data reporting required.
