Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at VTC Enterprises. As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks, including cleaning, pruning, and maintaining the appearance of the Naval Base Ventura County grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on tools and equipment.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Edge and trim around walks, flower beds, and walls.
  • Perform turf rejuvenation tasks, including dethatching, aerating, seeding, and fertilizing.
Requirements:
  • No minimum education requirements.
  • Knowledge of grounds maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable record.
