About the Role:

The Assistant Dental Director will collaborate with the Chief Dental Officer to optimize clinical operations and develop the clinical staff. As a primary care provider, the ADD will also provide dental services for a panel of patients, including medical dental diagnosis, treatment services, and managing quality dental care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Dental Officer to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and support for the professional development of dental staff.
  • Conduct clinical reviews of individual providers' clinical skills and provide coaching or support as needed.
  • Assist with the development and review of dental policy, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure patient satisfaction at the clinic is optimal and follows up with concerns as needed.
Requirements:
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited school of dentistry.
  • Must be licensed to practice dentistry in the State of California.
  • Must possess or obtain a DEA registration.
  • Must maintain CEUs as required for license renewal.
  • Must certify and remain current in CPR.
  • Three years of practice in all aspects of general dentistry preferably in a community-based dental clinic.
  • Two years of management experience in a dental clinic/practice/program.
