As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing occupational health policies and procedures to ensure effective safety operations in our commercial multi-family work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.
  • Maintain the OSHA safety log and other administrative requirements related to safety operations and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Site and Safety Coordinators to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to the safety committee.
  • Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow-up assessments.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.
  • Develop and oversee Emergency Action Plans, Site Specific Safety Plans, and Pre-Task Plans.
  • Review accident and incident reports.
  • Utilize digital platforms, tools, and systems for tracking and trending EH&S metrics and activities.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of current company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create, implement, and conduct training.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in large-scale commercial, government, or industrial sectors.
  • At least five years of occupational health and safety experience in an industrial environment required.
  • CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification.
  • Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA, 30-hour Construction Safety, and Industry Standards.
