About Us: The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center is a leader in cancer research and treatment, with over 15,800 patients served annually. Our dynamic team is dedicated to providing top-notch care and innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our patients and community.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs prior authorizations, handles denials, and provides financial counseling, demonstrating knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
  • Requires attention to detail and key entry accuracy in various tasks.
  • Expected to cross-train and support other roles within the Patient Financial Services Division.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirements may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $35,339 - $43,451, depending on experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, and a 403b retirement plan for eligible employees.
