Role Overview...

As a Café Team Lead, your primary responsibility is to enhance customer satisfaction and drive the success of the KC Café and Wine Bar across the organization. You will be tasked with creatively exceeding monthly targets and boosting sales within the café. Additionally, you will oversee inventory management across multiple locations and provide leadership to the Baristas. Your efforts will play a crucial role in the overall success of the sales department and the KC Café at CITY Furniture.

Key Responsibilities...

In your role as Café Team Lead, you will:
  • Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the KC Café.
  • Delegate monthly tasks and ensure the café maintains a high standard of cleanliness through regular audits.
  • Manage inventory orders and uphold the 'first in, first out' principle.
  • Monitor café equipment and coordinate necessary repairs.
Additional Responsibilities Include...
  • Adhering to all Standard Work and Role Responsibilities.
  • Training new Baristas and conducting equipment training sessions.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of new showroom openings and enhancements.
  • Collaborating with the manager to organize events that promote sales.
  • Participating in all KC Café events.

  • Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma required.
    • 1 to 5 years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Work Environment:
    • Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • 40 hours per week across 5 days.
    • Willingness to travel to various café locations within the region.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift 20 lbs., bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
    • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Certifications:
    • Valid Florida Driver's License.
