We are seeking Youth Program Supervisors to engage in our after-school programs. Our mission is to foster universal values such as enrichment, inclusion, and a passion for learning among students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. At our organization, we cultivate a warm and inviting atmosphere that nurtures a vibrant after-school community, where everyone looks out for one another and cares for the environment, especially for our youth.

This position may be ideal for you if:
  • You have a background in creating supportive and nurturing settings for children in grades K-5.
  • You are organized, dependable, and punctual.
  • You can work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrive in appropriate attire daily.
  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of programs.
  • May supervise participants during transportation to and from programs.
  • Adhere to and enforce health and safety protocols as per regulations.
  • Utilize timekeeping systems for attendance tracking.

Leadership Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm, and dedication to our mission.
  • Embody and implement our core values.
  • Communicate in a professional, honest, and thoughtful manner.
  • Engage in staff meetings, program evaluations, and professional development opportunities throughout the year.
  • Foster a caring, safe, and positive environment for youth.

Support and Supervision
  • Provide assistance to program participants during homework time, activities, and whenever necessary to ensure an inclusive environment.
  • Establish and model expectations for behavior and engagement.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with youth.
  • Support activity specialists by modeling expectations and participating in activities when appropriate.
  • Offer additional program support as needed.

To qualify for this role, you should:
  • Hold a high school diploma.
  • Have experience working with youth in educational or community settings.
  • Provide documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Pass background checks and health screenings as required.
  • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Afternoon hours.

Compensation: $16/hour.
