We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Tidelands Health. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonograms with documentation of anatomy measurements and abnormal or suspicious anatomy.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic medical sonograms with accuracy and attention to detail
- Document anatomy measurements and abnormal or suspicious anatomy
- Provide excellent patient care and demonstrate excellent customer service
- Assume on-call rotation on a regular basis
- Cover all sites as necessary
- Graduate of a Medical Sonography program or a minimum of one year Sonography experience
- ARDMS certified or eligible
- Non-ARDMS registered technologists must successfully complete the ARDMS registry within one year of hire date
- Anatomy
- Scanning techniques
- Knowledge of Normal and Abnormal Anatomy
- Physics
- Computer Skills
- Medical Terminology
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk; occasionally to use hands, fingers; and frequently to talk or hear. The employee must exert 20 to 35 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
