Phlebotomy Specialist

About the Role:
As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you will play a vital role in our organization by providing exceptional patient care and adhering to protocols. You will be responsible for drawing blood samples accurately and efficiently, creating a comfortable and reassuring environment for patients. You will also demonstrate leadership qualities and a commitment to process excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture procedures on patients of all ages.
- Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and accuracy of information.
- Provide excellent customer service and build trust with patients.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and experience in retail or service environments.
- Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.
