Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Reconciliation Technician to join our team at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center. As an integral member of the pharmacy team, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to obtain and document accurate medication lists for newly admitted patients in the emergency department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and document accurate medication lists for patients
  • Enter information into the electronic health record
  • Use knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, metric systems, and computer systems
  • Provide excellent customer service and effectively communicate with patients, staff, and outside providers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Current Pharmacy Technician certification or licensed practical nurse by state of employment
  • Minimum three years of medication history or pharmacy experience preferred
