Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Genomic Technologist II to join our team in the Clinical Genomics and Advanced Technology Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and training on various genomics testing, including nucleic acid isolation, PCR, chromosome microarray, and molecular infectious disease testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and train on a variety of genomics testing, including nucleic acid isolation, PCR, chromosome microarray, and molecular infectious disease testing.
  • Participate in validation of clinical testing and development of new clinical assays.
  • Maintain quality control/quality assurance as designated by the genomics Lead.
  • Analyze, report, and troubleshoot data generated from clinical genomics technologies and assays.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • ASCP certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with multiple clinical genomics platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft EXCEL, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with various QC principles and analysis in a clinical laboratory.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
