A Day in the Life of a Personal Care Attendant

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will be responsible for carrying out client plans of care under the supervision of the Home Care Aide Staffing Manager. Your duties may include:

  • Receiving and executing daily patient assignments
  • Collecting patient and family data and reporting findings to your supervisor
  • Performing interventions and procedures as directed to ensure safe and effective quality of care for patients
  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and ambulation
  • Effectively communicating clinical information to patients, their representatives, and home care staff

Estimated Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Prior home care and/or hospice experience preferred
  • Valid state driver's license and vehicle insurance required
