Responsibilities- Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms, including emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to disposal areas.
- Conduct regular walk-arounds to ensure facilities meet housekeeping standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Interact with guests on occasion while cleaning guest and meeting rooms, providing exceptional customer service.
- Report maintenance repair problems to supervisor and ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily.
- No prior experience required, but previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions.
- Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces.
Day shift, holidays, 8-hour shift, overtime as needed.
