Job Title: Director of Sales
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership and a strong background in technical sales or technology sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company objectives
- Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams, providing guidance, support, and training
- Oversee the customer service function to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
- Drive business development efforts to expand market share and increase revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing strategies with overall company goals
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze data, and generate reports
- Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with clients
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within sales and marketing
- Strong background in technical sales or technology sales preferred
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively foster a positive work environment
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for growth
- Experience in account management and outside sales
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM software
