Program Manager, Learning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Program Manager, Learning to join our team at Berlin Packaging LLC. This role is responsible for developing and implementing learning and development strategies to drive results throughout the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive onboarding and mentorship programs for new hires.
  • Utilize emerging learning tools to support continuous improvement and annual compliance training initiatives.
  • Coordinate training support through Subject Matter Expert (SME) development program, create training resources, and facilitate virtual classrooms.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Develop Training Tools & Resources:
    1. Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements across different departments.
    2. In partnership with Continuous Improvement, SMEs, and Change Management leadership, build an enterprise learning content management strategy and roadmap.
    3. Design engaging learning programs using various methods like instructor-led training, eLearning modules, and blended learning approaches.
    4. Create and maintain a repository of new and existing communication and training resources.
  2. Determine Training Methodology:
    1. Provide leadership related to all learning technologies (LMS, content management systems, etc.).
    2. Facilitate learning through various delivery methods including classroom instruction and virtual training.
    3. Research, develop, and implement new training strategies.
  3. Support Cross-Functional Continuous Improvement:
    1. Support a continuous improvement culture by participating in initiatives to drive process improvements.
    2. Participate in cross-functional projects to provide subject matter expertise in training as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in learning and development, change management, and communication.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
  • Proven experience in project management, including budget management and timeline adherence.
