Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Renal Unit at Mission Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
Requirements:
  • One year of RN experience.
  • Preferred experience: One year hospital nursing experience.
  • Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position.
  • Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Preferred Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty.
