The Physician Empire is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Leader to join our team as a Regional Medical Director for our Psychiatry department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious physician to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physician leadership for the Region's Psychiatry team, including 3-4 staff Psychiatrists and 7-8 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
  • Work with the Behavioral Health Service Line leadership to optimize quality and operations across the 3 units (58 beds) and robust consult-liaison service that provides inpatient psychiatric services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of services and achieve organizational goals.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members to ensure a strong and effective leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
