Position Overview:
As a Healthcare Customer Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing patient interactions, including registration, appointment scheduling, and handling clinical inquiries for various healthcare practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and assist with registration and scheduling as needed.
- Effectively triage and direct clinical inquiries to the appropriate staff.
- Support patients in completing necessary documentation.
- Ensure the reception area and workspace are maintained in a clean and organized manner.
- Have a solid understanding of billing procedures to assist medical personnel.
- Familiarize yourself with the services offered by the practitioners and their locations.
- Accurately enter referral details as required.
- Organize and retrieve medical records as necessary.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or retail setting.
- Ability to request payment from patients at the time of service.
- Proficient in using computers and navigating multiple software systems simultaneously.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include:
- Occasional standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
- Use of hands for handling objects and tools.
- Ability to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl.
- Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing.
- Occasional lifting, pushing, or moving up to 20 pounds.
- Repetitive upper body motion due to computer use.
- Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Work Environment:
This position is based in a well-lit, climate-controlled office setting, equipped with standard office equipment. The noise level is typical for a medical office environment.
