Responsibilities:

Manage the daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food for the hotel's restaurant(s) and room service, ensuring a quality, consistent product that meets HEI Franchise standards.

Lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations to ensure exceptional service and quality.

Monitor and control labor and food costs, preparing reports and schedules to ensure budgets are met or exceeded while maintaining quality standards.

  • Promote the Accident Prevention Program to minimize liabilities and related expenses.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in creating, costing, and implementing seasonal and special menus.

Assume the responsibilities of the Executive Chef in their absence and perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Two+ years of post-high school education, with a culinary education preferred.

Five+ years of employment in a related position, with hotel experience a plus.

Requires advanced knowledge of food and beverage management, including leadership skills, time management, and effective communication.

Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
