The Delivery Driver is responsible for verifying all items for correctness against established quality benchmarks and ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to clients. Key Responsibilities
- Execute tasks such as preparing the vehicle for deliveries, familiarizing oneself with the delivery area, ensuring orders meet quality and accuracy standards, and adhering to proper delivery protocols. Provide exceptional customer service through professional interactions, whether in person or via phone, while maintaining a sense of urgency in all tasks. Additional duties may include food preparation, ingredient assembly, and order taking.
- Collaborate effectively with team members by arriving punctually for shifts, assisting in various workstations as needed, and completing all closing responsibilities, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Uphold the company's image by following uniform and appearance guidelines, contributing to a vibrant and energetic work environment.
- Accurately manage order documentation and payment processing, execute cash handling responsibilities, and utilize the FOCUS System. Enhance sales initiatives by promoting additional items to increase the average order value and distributing promotional materials during shifts. Safeguard company assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean workspaces, and consistently adhering to safety and security protocols.
Essential Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with state laws, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle, and the capability to drive.
- Required Skills: Cash handling, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
