Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Atlas Air. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection, modification, and repair of aircraft at our maintenance base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot Technical Discrepancies: Identify and resolve technical issues with company aircraft, ensuring timely and efficient repairs.
  • Lead Aircraft Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks, to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise Maintenance Team: Lead and guide a team of mechanics on advanced tasks, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of maintenance activities.
  • Manage Materials and Tooling: Coordinate the procurement and management of materials and tooling required for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate: Required.
  • Transport Category Aircraft Maintenance Experience: Required.
  • Formal Training on Advanced Systems/Avionics: Required.
  • Strong Analytical and Interpersonal Skills: Required.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Software and Digital Manuals: Required.
  • Strong Work Ethic and Organizational Skills: Required.
What We Offer
