How Will You Contribute?

  • Prepare, obtain, and file essential documents throughout all stages of patent prosecution, including requests for client instructions, assignments, information disclosure statements, and responses to office actions.
  • Maintain and oversee a prosecution docket, ensuring timely follow-ups to meet due dates and deadlines.
  • Accurately track all hours worked daily by entering time into the firm's timekeeping system to meet the established billable goals.

What Qualifications Will You Bring?

  • A Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA (American Bar Association) accredited program, or equivalent legal support experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Patent Paralegal, with knowledge of foreign prosecution or equivalent legal support experience.
  • Experience in preparing and filing information disclosure statements and formal documents (assignments, declarations, office action templates, etc.) is preferred.
  • A collaborative spirit with a willingness to assist team members as needed and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in the office as required for training and collaboration, for a minimum of 3 days per month.
