Job Summary:

About the Role:
This position is responsible for providing personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and Administrative Coordinator. You will promote a high level of customer satisfaction during patient interactions, requiring knowledge of departmental and corporate policies and procedures. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and timely billing information and process appointments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed personnel and physician.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for the clinic and front office, providing training as appropriate to implement such changes.
  • Ensure patient safety and complete assigned goals.
  • Verify insurance coverage and process payment plans.
  • Work denial work queues to maximize reimbursement.
  • Coordinate department appointments and collect information at the time of service.

Requirements and Preferences:

Education:
Preferred: Associate's Degree.
Minimum: High School Diploma.

Experience:
Preferred: 3 years of experience in a clinical office, with knowledge of medical terminology.

Special Skills:
Preferred: Experience with EMR and Clinical Trial Management System.
Minimum: Computer skills, including MS Word, and excellent organizational skills.
