Job Summary

CareNow is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant LMRT X-ray Tech to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our providers and nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various clinical duties, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs, as well as applying splints, dressings, and bandages as directed.
  • Check patients in and out of the computer and assist with front desk duties, including greeting patients, checking patients in/out of the computer, and performing End of Day close-out procedures.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
  • Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
  • Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High School graduate as required by the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
  • Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
  • Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
