Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant LMRT X-ray Tech to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide expertise and champion patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include performing various clinical duties in support of providers and nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs clinical duties in support of providers and nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs.
  • May apply splints, dressings, and bandages as directed.
  • Prepares, maintains, and cleans exam rooms.
  • Checks patients in and out of the computer and assists the patient representative with front desk duties.
  • Maintains records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
  • Performs equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
  • Works closely with the center manager, medical staff, front desk coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school graduate as required by the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic services required.
  • Limited medical radiology technician (LMRT) license in the state of residency.
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
  • Ability to obtain a BLS certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a federal breath alcohol screening certification and federal drug screening certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
