Job Summary

CareNow urgent care is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant LMRT X-ray Tech to provide high-quality patient care and support our clinical team. As a Medical Assistant LMRT X-ray Tech, you will be responsible for performing various clinical duties, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs. You will also assist with front desk duties, maintain records and logs, and perform equipment and supply audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical duties in support of providers and nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including greeting patients, checking patients in/out of the computer, and performing End of Day close out procedures.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
  • Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled.

Requirements

  • High School graduate as required by the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
  • Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
  • Ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
