Join Our Team as a Toddler Education Manager

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a Toddler Education Manager at Muriel Moore Child Development Center. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year.


Key Responsibilities

The Toddler Education Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading the toddler classroom, ensuring a high-quality education and care for children.
  • Developing and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum/learning experience in line with the CT-ELDS and NAEYC Standards.
  • Ensuring the welfare, health, and safety of children through positive discipline techniques and close supervision.
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with families and engaging in mealtime activities with children.
  • Recording daily attendance and lunch counts in accordance with CACFP and center policy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a non-related field with 36 credits in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.
  • An Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • A minimum of a CDA with 12 credits in Early Childhood Education.
