Key Responsibilities

  1. Arrange components in accordance with company standards, technical drawings, and familiarity with the assembly unit.
  2. Secure components using bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fastening methods.
  3. Utilize hand tools to remove minor amounts of material to ensure precise fitting of parts.
  4. May be tasked with painting components to meet specified requirements.
  5. Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  6. Operate forklifts to safely transport parts and equipment to various locations.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level role; however, prior experience in assembly, tool usage, and manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members; potential for cross-training in different roles.

Ability to interpret design specifications to align with company quality standards.

Strong focus on tasks with meticulous attention to detail.

Problem-solving capabilities to evaluate, adjust, and address challenges as they arise.

Capacity to meet deadlines while demonstrating excellent organizational skills.

Comfortable interpreting blueprints and related customer documentation.

Efficient time management skills to prioritize and plan work activities to achieve objectives.

Demonstrates precision and thoroughness; actively seeks opportunities to enhance quality; provides constructive feedback to improve performance; ensures work complies with company standards.

Meets productivity benchmarks; completes tasks promptly while maintaining high-quality output.

Adheres to safety and environmental regulations; reports any unsafe conditions and properly utilizes PPE and tools.

Ability to adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unforeseen circumstances.

Punctuality in accordance with the work schedule is essential.

Must be able to follow directives and respond to management instructions; take accountability for actions; and uphold commitments.

Willingness to work weekdays, occasional weekends, and extended hours as necessary.

May be required to wear a respirator and comply with respiratory safety guidelines.

Must successfully pass a drug screening and company physical examination.
