We're seeking a seasoned Water Systems Development Manager to lead our estimating team in crafting compelling bids for water and wastewater treatment projects across the nation.

This role involves strategic planning, technical excellence, and collaborative team management. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning and Vision: Translate customer needs into innovative system designs, aligning with our company's vision and market demands.
  • Leadership in Technical Excellence: Elevate technical review standards and mentor the estimation team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical proficiency.
  • Collaborative Team Management: Seamlessly integrate efforts across departments, consultants, and clients, enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration and quality.
  • Oversight of Project Lifecycle: Ensure diligent management of project documentation, schedules, budgets, and scopes, from inception to completion.
  • Institutionalizing Best Practices: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge engineering solutions and best practices, keeping the team ahead in industry advancements.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, particularly in water and wastewater plant construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams, with experience in vendor, procurement, and subcontractor management.
  • Skilled in performing quantity takeoffs, using print reading software, and comfortable with cost estimating software (HCSS HeavyBid preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, proficient in organizing and driving results, along with excellent presentation, negotiation skills, and a high degree of integrity and trust.
