About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to join our core team at FamGuard Group of Companies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building and managing a small team to own a core part of our product stack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of our financial platform, ensuring it remains the easiest-to-use in the industry.
  • Drive key technical decisions for the organization, influencing product strategy and contributing to the codebase.
  • Attract, develop, and maintain a high level of talent density for your team, fostering an environment where team members feel empowered and have a strong sense of ownership.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and learning from failures.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of prior experience writing production code at scale, preferably in Ruby or React.
  • 2 years of experience managing or leading engineering teams.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A self-starter mentality, with a proven track record of starting and leading projects from conception to delivery.
