Position Overview:

As a Cashier at Gringo's Mexican Kitchen, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Welcoming and engaging with guests as they arrive.
  • Providing information about our menu items, beverages, and restaurant services.
  • Processing transactions, including preparing the final bill, presenting checks, accepting payments, and handling credit card transactions.
  • Completing assigned side work at the beginning and end of each shift as directed by management.
  • Monitoring the dining experience to ensure guest satisfaction with both food and service.
  • Responding to guest requests promptly and courteously, while relaying feedback to management.
  • Assisting in maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
  • Following the closing checklist to ensure the restaurant is properly closed at the end of the day.
  • Participating in all scheduled team meetings.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Food Handler Certification is a requirement.
Physical Demands:

To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, team members must meet the following physical requirements:
