We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team at Corus Orthodontists. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and contributing to the growth and success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome new patients with a friendly and enthusiastic approach, reviewing their health and medical history, and determining their goals for treatment.
  • Assist in the Orthodontist's examination, entering data, and listening to the conversation between patient and doctor, taking appropriate notes in the patient's chart.
  • Review the treatment plan with the patient, using available tools to educate them on the available options, and close the sale by working with the patient and/or responsible party to design financial payment plans that work for them.
  • Generate correspondence from initial consultation and recall examinations for the referring dentist, and follow up with patients who are ready to start treatment.
  • Act as a liaison between the doctor and any other dental specialists or general practitioner, and complete monthly reports on key performance metrics.

Requirements:
  • 1+ years of Dental or Ortho office experience, previous experience working in professional sales, and experience as a Treatment Coordinator are considered assets.
  • Good with computers, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Knowledge and experience with dental treatment plans and insurance requirements are preferred.
  • Certified Dental Assistant and knowledge and understanding of oral treatment plans are assets.
