Plant Operations Director

Metz Strategic Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing plant in the South Central PA area.
Job Summary:We are looking for a results-driven Plant Manager who can provide exceptional leadership to our plant team, drive business growth, and ensure operational excellence. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, engineering, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership to the plant team, setting goals and objectives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and performance metrics to measure success.
- Lead and manage a team of direct reports, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, driving safety, productivity, quality, and delivery metrics.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including plant employees, corporate teams, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business-related field.
- Master's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in engineering, operations, and materials management.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage P&L responsibilities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
