Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain an engaging, creative, and rewarding social environment within the community, promoting resident involvement through a variety of scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, film screenings, exercise classes, clubs, games, artistic opportunities, educational sessions, and other enriching activities.
Actively participate in resident activities by personally leading events and encouraging resident involvement in all planned activities, excursions, and special events.
Recruit, train, manage, and schedule Activity Assistants, Drivers, and Community Volunteers.Ensure a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and visitors by adhering to established safety protocols.
Promote teamwork through collaborative interactions with colleagues and other departments.
Must be able to operate community vehicles.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current Class C license is necessary; preference for Class B or Class C with Passenger Endorsement.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in organizing planned activities and assessing residents' needs.
Preferred: one (1) year of experience in supervising and managing staff and volunteers.
Flexibility in work schedule is essential, including availability for holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed to ensure adequate departmental coverage.
Proficient in operating a personal computer and familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).Must successfully pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
To ensure the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to be vaccinated, participate in daily screenings, undergo surveillance testing, and wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
