Main Responsibilities

The primary role of a Community Support Worker is to assist individuals in acquiring and maintaining daily-living, domestic, adaptive, and socialization skills. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing 1:1 in-home and community-based support to individuals
  • Assisting individuals in achieving various goals in the home and local community
  • Transporting individuals to medical appointments, personal shopping, and recreation activities
  • Aiding in policy guideline adherence

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • A willingness to drive individuals in their personal vehicle throughout the community
  • A valid driver's license and registered vehicle with existing auto insurance
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain

Estimated Salary

$20 per hour, based on experience, providing flexible work hours, including day, evenings, and weekends, as well as a $250 bonus after 30 days worked.
